Unusual for the holiday season, it appears a White Christmas is not on the calendar for this year. Mountain passes are getting all of the snow with a rain/snow mix and fog at lower elevations. Still a slight chance for a light snowfall but I am not holding my breath in anticipation.
Happy Christmas and thanks for making our bit of the internet such a pleasure to be in.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas, Norm! You are very kind but I reckon we both blog for very similar reasons.
Delete...and a very Merry Christmas to you sir. I have not had much time to comment this year, but have been watching your great online games with much interest Jon. Do give me a shout sometime (and of course Steve, who I believe still wants revenge for last time ;) ) , if you need players for your excellent battles.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Darren! It would be good to get you back into the gaming rotation in the New Year.
DeleteMerry Christmas Jon, and thank you for hosting so many great games this year!
ReplyDeleteMany of these games would have been the same without you sitting at the table. Merry Christmas!
DeleteI hope you meant NOT the same Jon. Lol.
DeleteWhoops! Yes, I forget the negation…
DeleteChris the games would NOT have been the same!
Lol, almost made the same comment JBM!
DeleteMy fingers cannot keep up with my head.
DeleteJonathan,
ReplyDeleteFelicitations of the Season! Keep up the good work.
Neil
Thank you, Neil!
DeleteMerry Christmas Jonathan. Look forward to your posts in the New Year and beyond.
ReplyDeletePhil, I always await to see what is next on your table as well. Merry Christmas!
DeleteHave a good one, as they say in these parts. Nice tree, BTW.
ReplyDeleteI will pass your tree compliments on to Nancy. You have a good one too!
DeleteMerry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you and yours Jonathan…
ReplyDeleteAll the best. Aly
Merry Christmas, Aly! I await your Boxing Day Bash.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Jonathan, to you and yours (including all the little metal--and plastic--men).
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas , to you, Ed!
DeleteHi Jonathan, I wish you a Merry Christmas too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Phil!
DeleteMerry Christmas to you too Jonathan. I may have to return for a gratuitous comment or two as, with Stew's ongoing hiatus, I see I am tied for third place with Norm and Keith on the top commentators board.
ReplyDeleteLawrence, come back and post as many comments as wish although you are up to #2 now. Merry Christmas!
DeleteMerry Christmas Jonathan!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
DeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays to you and yours, Neil!
DeleteHi Jon, Happy Christmas and New Year.
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays, Peter!
DeleteMerry Chrimbo Jon, thanks for a great 2023’s feast of gaming.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope that 2024 sees even more games. Merry Christmas!
DeleteMerry Christmas and Happy New Year Jon to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great reports, games and thought provoking posts in 2023.
Happy holidays, Richard! As always, you are most kind. I hope to see you and the Rejects back at the table in the New Year.
DeleteI don't know what Blogger is up to, today, but I have had to resort to my phone to comment!
ReplyDeleteIt's been another stellar year for PWJ Jon, and great to see you bucking the trend (identified in your own analysis of the GWS data!) of waning interest in remote/virtual gaming!
Seasons greetings to you and your 👪 🎅
I had trouble with Blogger off-and-on with needing to sign-in when I was already signed-in.
DeleteThanks so much for your support, Keith! Perhaps remote gaming is ebbing away for most but I see it opening doors to others.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you and yours Jonathan.
ReplyDeleteThank you, George!
DeleteSeason's Greetings to you too, Jon. Hope you have a good Xmas and all the best for 2024. Hopefully I'll soon be doing more Piedmontese and Spanish flags for your troops! David of Not By Appointment (Google would not let me log in to coment so had to post as Anonymous!).
ReplyDeleteSeason’ Greetings to you, David!
DeleteI would be most grateful to see your Piedmontese flags more forward in time from WSS to WAS. More Spanish flags would be most welcome too but I am content with using your “generic” Spanish banners to fill out my regiments until such time that they can be properly flagged.
A Merry Christmas to you and yours , Tony
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Tony!
DeleteThanks for another great year of Blog posts from you Jon, with interesting and varied topics, which have been a pleasure to read. No chance of a white Xmas here, with it possibly getting up to 15C, which might be a record!
ReplyDeleteWishing you and yours a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!
Steve, happy to see that my ramblings keep bringing you back. Merry Christmas!
DeleteAlways a pleasure to come here Jonathan... Merry Christmas to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Phil! Merry Christmas!
DeleteHappy Christmas to you and your family Jon look for to more painting and adventures in the new year.
ReplyDeleteMore painting and adventures in the New Year, for sure! Merry Christmas!
DeleteHappy Holidays Jonathan
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to you!
DeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family Jonathan! Thank you very much for all your blogging and your comments that I see on others' blogs. I know that it is a significant investment in time and energy and would like to say it is most appreciated.
ReplyDeleteA lovely tree and I hope that some of the larger presents underneath it are for you.😁
Merry Christmas, Ben! I think you really are too kind. None of the big presents are for me...
DeleteA very Merry Xmas to you and yours, Jon
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for all your friendly comments on my blog (and many others!) ,and of course for some really great games!
Merry Christmas, David! We had a very fun year at the remote gaming table, didn't we? I expect no less for 2024.
DeleteHappy Christmas Jonathan. Thanks for the great posts and the great games.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays, Lee! We had some good games in the year winding down. Looking forward to new gaming challenges in the New Year.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Jonathan. A white Christmas is fairly rare here in Southern New England, and even more so with the effects of climate change.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Peter! Not having a White Christmas is a rarity here but El Nino years are often warmer.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Jonathan. I hope you have a great holiday and a great New Year. May all your cameras stay in focus, all your connections stay stable and all you rolls be what you need.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joe! Merry Christmas!
DeleteMerry Christmas Jonathan! Currently parked with Family about 6 miles away from you enjoying the same 'not snow.' Could be worse, I suppose. I am planning to at least get a long ride in next week without Icing over...
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Jake! I am more of a fair weather cyclist than you although getting outside is tempting.
DeleteThe skys saw fit to hit us with both Snow and Hail this week. Figures crossed it will be dry enough to attempts something this weekend.
DeleteMerry Christmas and a great new year!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Merry Christmas, Iain!
DeleteMerry Christmas, Jonathan! It's a soggy/wet Christmas day here in the Puget Sound area too.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Dean!
DeleteMerry Xmas Jon, thanks for all the games and the ever-excellent blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you, David! We will see more games in 2024.
