After the enjoyable Samurai Battles games over the holidays, the urge to field more units increased as it usually does after such an event. With the games fresh in memory, motivation to paint continues. Sticking with the red theme, a third unit of these Red Devil, Ashigaru spear muster off the painting desk. With these spearmen, I begin my fourth brigade of six stands. A second stand of spear is in the painting queue. Figures are by Peter Pig.
